Hello, My name is Guenhwyvar (Myrna) and I live in Western Washington, the land of two seasons. warm rain and cold rain! I don't live on a farm. I don't have fiber animals. I get my fibers the easy way - I buy it, (NEW) I dye it, I mix it, then I have it carded by Spinderella.

I live in a nice neighborhood with my husband (see picture of me and hubby) and 3 cats. I have raised 5 sons, 2 older and 3 younger, (see pictures of 3 of my sons) and have 10 grandchildren (pictures of 7 of my grands).Like a lot of spinners, I am quite reclusive. My main wheels are made by Magnus Drudik. Nigel, a figured maple dream and a Purple Heart big boy, I think everyone should have a Drudik, it's a dream wheel.

My career was hairstyling of which I actually tried to retire 12 years ago. I set up a very small shop in my laundry room to do friends, family and clients that refuse to let me go <big grin>. That is mostly my social life. My Hub-unit is my best friend. BUT he is the reason I'm trying to downsize my antique/primitive wheels and distaffs. He retires in 5 years and wants to travel.

I LOVE to take pictures. Fancy myself amateur photographer altho I'm certainly not even close. I have a passion for the Redwoods and just plain Nature. I will be adding tons of family pictures if you'd like to look of grandchildren and just plain fun stuff. Hope you enjoy my site and find something you just can't do without!
